Ricotta or Recycle?
I haven't baked much over the past few weeks. Instead I have been using toogoodtogo.co.uk This app helps combat food waste by encouraging food outlets and shops to sell their left over produce instead of throwing it away. So this means at the end of the day I can go to my local bakers and collect a pile of left over bread and baked goodies for as low as three pounds. It is a great app but you don't always know what you will end up with. I ended up with lots of bread and rolls and so decided not to bake. But I miss it, so today I made a Ricotta and Chive loaf from Paul Hollywood's 100 Breads. It is a great recipe and so tasty. I won't be wasting any of this loaf!
